Jesus, on His way toward His goal, spends time teaching about the Kingdom of God. People, listening to what He says, begin asking questions about being saved, about entering this Kingdom. Jesus’ response is not what you'd expect. He speaks of the “narrow door” through which we must enter. Many choose to only know of Jesus from a distance without truly knowing Him. Those who enter through the “narrow door” of repentance and faith are the ones who truly know Jesus and are welcomed into His unending Kingdom.
