In the letter to the church at Laodicea (Revelation 3:14-22), Jesus says He is the "AMEN" of God. Confirming and affirming all that God is, says, and does, Jesus rebukes His own people for their "lukewarm" ways. The Savior's spat proves to be a blessing in disguise, giving us a chance to repent and open the door to the mercy He so freely gives.
